Intermission is a browser extension that mutes the current browser tab when it detects an ad break on a supported streaming site, and unmutes it when the show resumes.
This extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, browsing history, or video-watching activity. It has no analytics, no third-party trackers, and no remote servers of any kind. Everything it does happens locally in your browser.
The extension keeps a small amount of state in your browser's local
extension storage (chrome.storage.local), which never leaves
your device:
None of this is synced to an account, sent to a server, or accessible to anyone but you.
